There was a perception that Manulife is only here to sell you a product. We wanted to change that perception by nurturing customers through education, engagement and awareness throughout their product lifecycle and provide honest insights about travel insurance needs, in order to stay top-of-mind when the time comes to buy again.

An aspect of this nuture campaign was that we created a digital travel magazine to be shared with customers called Voyasure. It’s a fun made-up word that combines two familiar words: voyage and sure. In the dictionary of made-up words, it would be defined as, “The peace of mind you feel knowing you’re fully prepared for your trip.” And being prepared means many things that this magazine will tell you about, including being insured. Plus, there’s a distinctly Canadian flavour to it because it sounds like “voyageur.
